An executive order signed by President Donald J. Trump aims to boost American mineral production — including a focus on potash. Detailed in the “Immediate Measures to Increase American Mineral Production” order are instructions for federal agencies to compile a list of all mineral production projects that have submitted plans of operation, permit applications, or any other approval requests with the goal of streamlining the permitting process.
